Hjertegarn is a Danish-owned company that was founded in 1926 on Funen. In 1992 they moved to Jutland, while production moved abroad. Hjertegarn collaborates with loyal Yarn producers in Europe and Asia and works under the philosophy "Sell at fair prices where everyone can participate". Hjertegarn and their large selection

Hjertegarn has a large selection of qualities and you will be able to find all their popular yarns in our selection. Most are composed of different materials, but several are qualities, for example, consisting of 100% wool. For example, we sell their brands Lima, Blend Bamboo and Natur Uld. Both Lima and Natur Uld are made of 100% wool, while Blend Bamboo is a cotton blend consisting of 70% Bamboo and 30% cotton.

Different Yarn has different properties that you can utilize in your projects. Hjertegarn makes their blended products so that you get the best properties from several materials. For example, try Arezzo Lin, which consists of 29% linen, 37% cotton and 34% Bamboo. Hjertegarn has combined the best properties from the three materials to give you an antiseptic, hypoallergenic, durable and soft Yarn.

The pure yarn qualities give you all the good properties of the materials used. For example, the pure wool qualities Lima and Natural Wool provide warmth in cold weather, absorbency in humid weather and cooling properties in warmer weather.
