Cherry baskets or apple baskets

If you lack smart storage for various little things, take a look at these amazing cherry baskets. You can crochet them by following the detailed instructions below, which can be followed by beginners, such as trained crochets. The baskets are crocheted in Mayflower Ribbon Fabric Yarn, which consists of cotton, polyamide and viscose. Cherry baskets

Size: Height approx. 18 cm. Diameter approx. 25 cm. 

Material: Mayflower Ribbon Fabric Yarn. Contains : 60% cotton, 20% polyamide, 20% viscose. Mileage: 250 g = approx. 125 m.  

Yarn Consumption:

2 skeins of color 116 Red

1 skein of color 124 Green

Crochet hook: No. 8,00 mm

Course of action

Curve:

The baskets are crocheted in a spiral and started from the bottom.

1 round / Make a magic ring and crochet 6 dc around (6 sts)

2 rounds / 2 sc in each sc. (12 m)

3 rounds / * 1 dc, 2 dc in next dc * (18 sts)

4 rounds / * 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (24 m)

5 rounds / * 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (30 m)

6 rounds / * 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (36 m)

7 rounds / 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (42 sts)

8 rounds / * 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (48 m)

9 rounds / * 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc * (54 m)

10 - 20 rpm / 1 sc in each sc. (54 m)

21 rounds / * 7 sc, 2 sc together * (48 m)

22 rounds / * 6 sc, 2 sc together * (42 m)

23 lbs / * 5 sc, 2 sc together * (36 m)

24 rounds / * 4 sc, 2 sc together * Finish with 1 km ( 30 m)

Break the yarn and crochet another basket.

Leaves: 

Crochet 20 cm ch (= stem)

continue with leaf * 13 ch, turn with 1 ch.

1 dc, 2 dc, 2 dc, 3 dc, 2 dc, 2 dc, 1 dc * Continue on opposite side of blade and crochet * to * End with 1 sl st.

Crochet a row with km in the middle of the blade.

Continue to crochet another leaf in the same way. End with 20 ch (stem)

Sew the parts together to the baskets.

Apple basket

Yarn Consumption:

1 skeins of color 116 Red

1 skein of color 124 Green

Crochet hook: No. 8,00 mm

Crochet the basket in the same way as a cherry basket and the leaves are also crocheted, though stems are not crocheted, but a strap in the center of the leaves of 20 ch.
