Here is the pattern for a guest towel for the bathroom. The towel can also easily be used as a kitchen towel.

The pattern is easy when you get the hang of it, so it is an easy project to crochet, while you are doing other things, such as watching TV.

The finished towel measures approx. 34x42cm, but the size may vary slightly depending on whether you crochet loosely or tightly. The finished size, however, is definitely not crucial for the result.

Size: 34 x 42 cm

Material: Infinity Hearts Rose 8/4. Contains 100% cotton. Running length 50g = approx. 176 m

Yarn consumption: 2 skeins of color 132 Petrol

Crochet needle: 3.00 mm

Abbreviations

rw. = row

st = stitch

ch = chain stitch

dc = double crochet

tr = treble crochet

tr-gr = treble crochet group (crochet 3 treble crochets in one stitch)

* - * = repeat what stands between the stars

Procedure

The towel is crocheted from the bototm and up.

Now we begin:

Rw. 1: Pick up 81 ch + 1 ch to turn.

Take care that the air masks do not become too tight.

Rw. 2: 1 sc in each st. Turn with 2 ch.

Rw. 3: 1 tr in each st. Turn with 2 ch.

Rw. 4: 1 dc in each of the first 3 sts, * skip 1 st over, P 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc * repeat until only 3 sts remain. Crochet 1 dc in each of the last 3 sts. Turn with 2 ch.

Rw. 5-46: repeat row 4 another 41 times. If you want the towel to be longer, repeat row 4 several times. Note then that you will then need more yarn.

(Now crochet the part of the towel where the handle is. See the pictures in the bottom of the pattern if necessary)

Rw. 47: 1 dc in each of the first 38 sts, 5 ch, skip 5 sts, 1 dc in each of the last 38 sts. Turn with 1 ch.

Rw. 48: 1 sc in each of the first 38 sts, 5 sc around ch from the previous row, 1 sc in each of the last 38 sts.

Cut the string and tie the ends. You have now crocheted a guest towel!
