Anchor

Ch 4, Sl St into beginning Ch (Starting from the top of the anchor in red, forming a circle). Ch 5, Dc into 2nd Ch from Hook, Dc into next Ch (still red). Ch 1, Sl St into Ch 2 of previous Ch 5 Ch 3 (follow purple). Dc into 2nd Ch from Hook, Dc into next Ch (purple). Ch 8, Sl St into Ch 6 (main part of the anchor, still purple). Ch 7. HTC into Ch 6. Sl St into same stitch and next 5. Sl St into Ch 5 from the body of the anchor, then Sl St into ring created by Ch 8 (follow blue). Ch 7 HTC into Ch 6. Sl St into same stitch and next 5 (yellow). Surface Slip st up body of anchor to give more structure. (follow red back up main part of the anchor).

Nautical laundry basket pattern

To attach the anchor, chain 50 and wrap it around the anchor and through the hole at the top. Then tie the chain to a stitch on the top row of the main basket.

To attach the wheel, simply tie it on the lid in place with a bit of leftover white yarn.
