This type of star strips can be combined with the rest of Vivi Gade's collection. Simplicity is the code for Vivi Gade's design, which also gives the papers a Scandinavian touch. You get 40 star strips in this package. The paper has subsequently been treated to make it acid-free and lignin-free. This ensures the colors, patterns and durability. In addition to the red color, one type of star strips has a lacquered surface. Of these, there are 24 pieces, while there are 16 pieces with the glittered surface. In total, you can make 10 poinsettias. You get two sizes of poinsettias with a diameter of 6.5 cm and 11.5 cm respectively. Instructions for braiding the star strips can be found on the back of the package. It is illustrated so you can easily follow along step by step. See also our instructions below.

Instructions

Follow the illustrated instructions. 1) Start by finding four strips. Then fold them in half so that the strips are halved. 2) At the end where the strips are not folded, cut a small triangle so that the end is pointed. This makes it easier to braid the star strips. 3) Take the first strip and place it with the tip pointing downwards. 4) The next star strip should now lie across with the tip to the right. Star strip 2 should wrap around the first, vertical star strip. 5) Now take the third star strip and lay it vertically, but opposite star strip 1, i.e. star strip 3 lies on the table with the tip pointing upwards. Strip 3 should fold around star strip 2. 6) Now take the last star strip and place it across star strip 3 with the tip facing left. Star strip 4 should grip star strip 3 and have the tips between the two sides of the first strip. 7) When you pull all four strips to the side, they should lock in place so that you have a small square. 8) Next, fold the four strips over the braided square so that you have two strips on all four sides. You do this in a counterclockwise direction. The last strip that you fold over should be locked in place by inserting it through the transverse cross in the square. 9) Now bend the top right strip so that you have a small triangle with the slanted side pointing to the right. The paper strip points to the right. 10) Now fold another triangle so that the strip is pointing downwards. Now you have two triangles. 11) Now fold one triangle over the first triangle so that they are double. 12) Next, you need to get the strip through the transverse strip in the braided square in the middle. If necessary, bend the triangle backwards to get the strip through. 13) Turn the star 90 degrees and repeat steps 9-13, i.e. continue folding the triangles that form the tips of the star. When you have folded the first four points, turn the star over. Now repeat folding the triangles into points in the same way as steps 9-13. 14) You now have four strips sticking out at the top of the star. Fold them up. Lift up one of them and fold the paper backwards into a triangle with the slanted side pointing upwards. Twist the strip so that the tip can go through the transverse strip on the back of the folded triangle. The strip should go through one of the points on the side. Repeat step 14 on the other three strips. Turn the star over and repeat step 14 four times. 15) Finish folding by cutting the excess strips from the sides of the star.
