Infinity Hearts Safety Eyes / Amigurumi Eyes Brown 18mm - 5 sets

Soft toys, crocheted or knitted teddy bears take on a more vibrant look when you attach these safety eyes. This type of safety eye is typically used on the Japanese crochet style amigurumi, which has become very popular in the UK. The small crocheted figures of 5-10 cm are hard to resist.

Each eye is made of black and brown plastic and is shaped like a small screw. The screw itself measures 18 mm in diameter and has a black pawl on the back, so the eye is 13 mm long. To install the eyelet, simply turn the screw down through your finished crochet project. Then click and clamp the fastener to the back of your project to secure the eyelet in place. This eliminates the need to sew on the eyes.
