Travel Sewing Kit

The travel companion (Syetui) is practical and smart to have with you on holiday. If the worst comes to the worst and a garment needs repairing, the case is easy to find.

The practical case is made of hard plastic and is transparent, so you can easily see what's inside. The case measures 8 cm and is 5.5 cm wide. The pack contains two silver needles measuring 4.5 cm. They are made of metal and sit on a paper holder. Two silver safety pins measuring approximately 3.3 cm are also included in the set.

The needle threader is a handy tool for threading the needle. It has a 3 cm long handle which is made of aluminium. The holder is engraved with a profile of a man holding a laurel wreath, just like coins. At the end of the shaft is the 2 cm stainless steel wire of the needle threader. The needle threader is easy to use. You find the needle you want and stick the needle threader through the eye of the needle. Once the needle is inside the shank, you feed the thread or yarn through the wire. Now pull the wire with the thread back through the eye of the needle.

The kit also includes three rolls of sewing thread in black, white and red. The thread is made of cotton. You get the most common colours of sewing thread. In addition, the set includes two 48 cm ribbons of extra sewing thread in the assorted colours black, white, red, pink, purple, light blue, yellow, green and petrol blue.
