The Clover Wonder Knitter is suitable for making horsehair. This model is most suitable for thicker yarns, for example wool yarn and cotton yarn, which are normally used on 4 mm knitting needles and up. The knitting iron is ideal for creating exciting decorative items such as bracelets, belts and other accessories.
The knitting iron itself consists of a pink tube made of ABS plastic. The tube has a length of 8.5 cm and a diameter of 5 cm. This makes the knitting iron ergonomically good to hold. Two interchangeable heads are included, which are also made of ABS plastic. One head is pink, while the other head is yellow. On the side of the knitting iron there is a practical holder for the hook itself made of polyoxymethylene (elastic thermoplastic).
This knitting ice is clever because of the two interchangeable heads. They have 3 and 6 plastic stitches respectively, on which you knit. This allows you to make horsehair in two different sizes. When the head is attached to the knitting iron itself, the head can rotate. This means that you do not have to rotate the whole knitting iron, but only the head itself.
Japanese Clover knows how to make handwork tools of exclusive quality. Functionality is paramount. The Clover Wonder Knitter Knitting Iron has a stylish design with a focus on optimal shaping. Working with a knitting scissors couldn't be easier.
Instructions
Upon unpacking, you will find the four parts of the set. Start by removing the green hook from the holder. Next, choose whether you want to knit with three or six stitches (pink or yellow head). Attach the desired head. Insert the end of the yarn needle through the tube of the knitting needle so that about 15 cm of yarn is sticking out of the bottom of the knitting needle. Be aware that during the first rounds, the stitches may be loose and easily slip off the seams. So when you hold the knitting iron, make sure you also hold the yarn. While holding the knitting iron in your left hand and the yarn in your right hand, wrap the yarn around the first stitch in a clockwise direction. Turn the head of the knitting iron clockwise and wrap the yarn around the other stitches. Then put the yarn in the holder. Press the yarn well into the seams and let the yarn run over your first work. Then take the green hook and lift the bottom stitch over the yarn and over the seam. Turn the head of the knitting iron clockwise and lift the bottom stitch over the yarn and the seam. Repeat this movement until you have the desired length of horsehair. When you are ready to finish, cut the yarn from the knitting itself. Lift the yarn over the seam and pull the yarn cord out, freeing the first seam from the yarn. Turn the head clockwise to the next stitch. Lift the yarn over the seam and pull out the yarn cord. Repeat until all stitches are free. Now you can remove the horsehair from the knitting iron itself and tie a knot at the end of the needlework.
