Cotton balls come in many different sizes and colours. They are indispensable tools for making shapes with your children or for getting creative.

Solid balls are most often associated with Christmas decorations and making snowmen. However, the balls can be used for many other hobby purposes.

The big advantage of all cotton balls is that they can be easily drawn on with ordinary markers. Let the children decorate funny, crazy, smiling, surprised or crazy faces.

The balls can also be used to make decorations and toy sweets. Use a piece of cardboard to shape a waffle and colour the balls in different shades to play ice cream shop. In the same way, a ball can be used to make toy lollipops. Glue a ball to a wooden popsicle stick and you can make the most inviting lollipops.

Let children make their own animals and imaginary creatures

Solid cotton balls are perfect for making animals. Each ball has a hole through it, so it's easy to pull string or pipe cleaners through the ball. This makes it easy for children to put the balls together themselves and shape them into animals or imaginary creatures. The cotton balls have a glue-resistant surface. Use a glue gun to glue ears, eyes, tails or wings on the animals.

If you have balls to spare, you can use them for craft projects that can add elegance and personality to your home. For the big kids or you who enjoy creating your own decorations for the home, the balls can be used as a base for patchwork. For this purpose, it is convenient to use the large 50mm balls. If you have a lot of small fabric scraps left over, they can be shaped into triangles and put together in patterns. This can be used to make flowers. Use hobby pins to attach each small piece of fabric and place them in layers one after the other.
