The carabiner measures 40 mm in length, while the hook is 15 mm wide. The ring at the top measures approximately 18x9 mm in internal dimensions. You can easily open the carabiner by pressing down the outer mechanism. When you release, the hook closes again and your items are now secured. In this pack you get 1 carabiner, so if both ends of the strap need to be able to be pulled, remember to put two carabiners in your basket.
