Paint on stone - Flag

Download PDF here

Welcome to my little intro to the marvellous hobby of painting on stone.

Once you get started, you’ll only stop when the ink has run out and you have no more stones. You’ve been warned!

In this step-by-step guide you will see how using Posca markers can transform ordinary stones into pretty decorations. Super fine stones, which are brilliant for table decoration, birthday cards, table cards and hostess gifts.

Material:

Posca markers in 3 colours. Here it is used: Red, white and black.

1. Draw a rectangle. If you think it will be too short, just draw it a little longer, as I have done here. If you make a mistake, it can always be covered later.

2. Colour the fields and allow the stone to dry before using the next colour.

3. Colour the cross white. In principle, you are done here, but if you want a little more contour then continue with point 4.

4. Contour. If you want a slightly stronger expression of your flags, you can choose to line your flags up with black.
