Free crochet pattern face scrubbies
Make your own reusable face scrubbies to minimize the use of cotton pads, which can only be used once and produce extra waste. The face scrubbies additionally look decorative in the bathroom and are also perfect as a little hostess gift. If you are at a beginner-level, the face scrubbies are a good project to start with because they are neither complicated nor time-consuming.
The face scrubbies are crocheted in the very nice cotton yarn Infinity Hearts Lotus with a crochet hook of 2.5 mm. One ball of yarn produces around 10 face scrubbies. If you want your face scrubbies to be a little thicker, you can crochet with double thread and choose a slightly larger crochet hook.

Instructions
It’s important to crochet the face scrubbies rather tightly, but if you find that your finished face scrubbies are bending too much you can settle for 8 or 9 treble in the magic ring.
1. Make a magic ring.
2. Cast on 2 chain stitches
3. Cast on 10 treble around the magic ring.
4. Pull firmly on the tail, so the ring closes.
5. Make a slip stitch so ends close tightly together.
Second and third round:
6. Cast on 2 chain stitches.
7. Make a treble in the same loop as the chain stitches.
8. Make 2 treble in the following loop. It’s important to round crochet both loops.
9. Continue all the way around and finish with a slip stitch. Repeat point 6-9 to make the third round.
Fourth round:
10. Cast on 2 chain stitches.
11. Crochet a treble in the same loop.
12. For the next 2 loops, only crochet one treble per loop
13. Make 2 treble the same following loop. Continue all the way around with one treble in one loop, one treble in one loop and two treble in the same loop.
14. Finish off the round with a slip stitch.
Fifth round:
15. Cast on one chain stitch and make double crochets all the way around.
