Instructions
You begin the headband by making chain stitches - make sure to leave a little tale at the end, as this will be used for weaving it joined when finishing.
Start by making 10 chain stitches, turn and make 8 treble stitches. Make 2 chain stitches as turning chains. Then 8 treble stitches again, 2 turning chains, etc.
Continue with the same instructions until the headband has the right length.
When the headband is the right length, you cut the yarn - make sure to leave a little tale for joining the ends.
Hold the ends close together and weave them together loosely from both ends.
Once the ends are joined, simply pull the yarn ends to make it "shrink" together in the middle. Tie a knot on the back of the headband and weave in the ends. You can also wrap the yarn around the closure a few times, if you wish.
