Start by crocheting 6 dc in a magic ring.
- Inc x 6 (12)

Now, you sew the baby birds attached to the nest, but first, you stuff the heads with some fibrefill.
You may benefit from turning the bird's nest inside out. That way you have more room for sewing on the baby birds.
Add filling to the baby bird bodies before securing it entirely and weave in the end.
Sew on the 3 remaining baby birds and weave in the ends.
Beak
Light dusty orange no. 24 and a 2.0 crochet hook – you are making 4 beaks
Crochet 4 chain stitches
- 3 dc, crochet 1 ch as a turning chain.
- 3 dc – cut the yarn but leave a long tail for sewing on the beak.
Fold the beak with the yarn ends on each side – this way you can attach it nicely to the baby birds’ head.
Weave in ends.
Eyes
Black no. 01 – you are making 8 eyes
Cut 8 strands of yarn of approx. 20cm, tie a knot around the middle of the yarn, draw the strand through 2 times before tightening the knot.
Sew the eyes on the baby birds and weave in the ends.
