Start by making 6 dc in a magic ring.
- Inc x 6 (12)
- 1 dc, inc x 6 (18)
- Make 4 rounds of 18 double crochet stitches
Crochet a slip stitch, Cut the yarn but leave a long tail for sewing the head onto the body.
Sew the head onto the body – stuff the head with fibrefill before sewing it on completely.
Weave in the end.
The legs
You need to make 8 legs.
Start by crocheting 10 ch, turn and crochet 9 dc
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing on the legs
Place the legs along the sides on the spider’s body. Sew them attached and weave in the ends.
Now you embroider the eyes and the cross on the body.
Make sure that both ends are long, as the ends should be brought down the head and used for the eyes.
Once you have embroidered the eyes, you weave in the ends.
