dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
tr = treble
FPtr = front post treble crochet
BPtr = back post treble crochet
dec = decrease
(two tr are crocheted together)
Instructions
You begin all rounds with 2 chain stitches, you finish all with a slip stitch in the first chain stitch.
The 2 chain stitches at the beginning are not counted in.
Cast on (86), 90, (96), 100, (104) s and join them in a ring with a sl st. All rounds are crocheted the same way for all sizes.
As you go, you will find that some stitches are left over after one round. You crochet these stitches without dec.
Yoke
Round 1: *4 tr, 2 tr in the same s* repeat until you have 2 s left, 1 tr in the 2 s
Round 2: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat the entire round
Round 3: *5 tr, 2 tr in the same s* repeat for the entire round
Round 4: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat for the entire round
Round 5: *6 tr, 2 tr in the same s* repeat until you have 8 s left, 1 dc in the last 8 s
Round 6: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat for the entire round
Round 7: 13 tr, 2 tr in the same s* repeat until you have 7 s left, 1 dc in the last 7 s
Round 8: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat for the entire round
Round 9: 1 tr in all stitches (150), (164)
Round 10: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat for the entire round
Round 11: 1 tr in all stitches (2), 2, (2), 4, (4) increase evenly
Round 12: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s* repeat for the entire round
Round 13-18: Alternating between a row of *1 tr* in all stitches and *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
The yoke is now finished. Do not fasten off.
Body
You now divide the yoke into sleeves and body before continuing your work. To increase the sleeves, you make two rows of chain stitches with 20 stitches in each. This is the same for all sizes.
Round 19 is crocheted like this in the different sizes…
(XS) Round 19: 25 dc, skip 26 s, 20 ch, 50 dc, skip 26 s, 20 ch, 25 dc
(S) Round 19: 26 dc, skip 27 s, 20 ch, 52 dc, skip 27 s, 20 ch, 26 dc
(M) Round 19: 27 dc, skip 28 s, 20 ch, 56 dc, skip 28 s, 20 ch, 27 dc
(L) Round 19: 28 dc, skip 29 s, 20 ch, 58 dc, skip 29 s, 20 ch, 28 dc
(XL) Round 19: 30 dc, skip 30 s, 20 ch, 60 dc, skip 30 s, 20 ch, 30 dc.
All sizes
Round 20: 1 dc in all s
Round 21-50: Crochet alternating between a row of *tr * and a row of *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
Round 51: 1 dc in all s
Fasten off
Sleeve
The sleeves are designed as balloon sleeves and are tight-fitting at the wrist.
Start at one sleeve by attaching the yarn
Round 1: 1 tr all the way around the armhole
Round 2: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
Repeat alternately Round 1 and 2 until and including Round 29.
Now you decrease
Round 30: *1 FPtr around 2 s, 1 BPtr around next s*
Round 31: 1 tr in each s
Round 32: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
Round 33: 1 tr in each stitch
Round 34: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
Round 35:*1 tr in each s
Round 36: *1 FPtr in s, 1 BPtr in the next s*
Round 37: 1 dc in each s
Round 38: *1 dc in the next 2 s, dec*
Repeat on both sleeves
Neckband
You can choose a different colour of yarn for the neckband if you want the same look as in the pattern. All rounds start with 2 ch and finish with a sl st in the 1st ch.
Tip: If you also want to make a similar edge at the bottom of your jumper or the sleeves, you crochet these the same way as the neckband.
Attach the crochet hook
Round 1-2: 1 dc in all s
Round 3: *3 dc, dec (2 dc together)* repeat for the rest of the round
Round 4: Skip 1 dc, crochet 6 tr in the next stitch, skip 1 s, 1 sl st in the next s stitch, *skip 1 s, crochet 6 tr in the next s, skip 1 stitch, 1 sl st in the next s*
Repeat for the entire round and then fasten off.
