Make 2 rounds of 42 double crochet stitches
Cut the yarn and make another one. Do not cut the yarn on the second one.
Hold the two pieces together and crochet them together with double crochet stitches – add stuffing before you finish all the way around.
Once you have reached all the way around, it is time to make the sunbeams.
You make large shells all the way around, but they are slightly different than the normal ones. You make them between 7 stitches and with 7 treble stitches.
Skip the first two stitches, then make treble stitches in stitch no 3, skip 2 stitches again and make a sl st.
- Skip 2 stitches
- Make 3 treble stitches, 1 double treble stitch, 3 treble stitches in the third stitch
- Skip 2 stitches
- Make a sl st in the sixth stitch
Repeat until you are all the way around, cut the yarn and weave in the ends
