Knitted Squares Neck Warmer

Squares is a small close-fitting neck warmer with a fan-shaped fit at the front.

Measurements

Size: Size S/M (L)

Width: 22cm. Length: 22cm. Size: S/M. Width: 24cm. Length: 22cm. size. (L). 

Materials

Yarn: Infinity Hearts Lily. Made from 70% Cotton & 30% Superwash Merino Wool.

Yarn consumption

1 (2) skeins Infinity Hearts Lily in colour A (bottom colour)

1 (2) skeins Infinity Hearts Lily in colour B (pattern colour)

Knitting needle

Circular needle 60cm size 4.5mm

Crochet tension

20 stitches x 24 rows in the pattern = 10x10cm.

Abbreviations

St = Stitch

Instructions

Cast on 88 (92) st on a circular needle with colour A

Work 9 rows back and forth.

Place stitch marker, gather the work and work 1 round with colour A

Work through the diagram 10 times. You read the diagram from right to left.

X = colour A

Empty space = colour B

Knit a round with colour A

Turn the work so that you are knitting in the opposite direction and work 8 rows back and forth

On round 9 you cast off – you cast off from the back.

Finishing

Weave in ends. Note that you achieve the fan-shaped effect at the front by not sewing the ridge edges together. If you want a more "tube shaped" model, you can sew them together.
