Instructions

Cast on 112 ch

1. Row: 1 htc in 3rd ch from hook and in remaining ch = 110 sts.

2. Row: 1 ch, 1 htc in every htc in the rest of the row = 110 sts.

3.-46. Row: Repeat row 2 = 110 sts.

Here begins the bubble pattern:

47. Row: Ch 1, 1 htc in first 30 sts, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 3 htc, 1 B, 3 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 5 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 3 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 3 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc, 1 B, 1 htc for the last 29 sts = 110 sts.

48. Row: ch 1, htc in every st until the end of row = 110 sts.

Now follow the diagram for the text. In between "CRIB" and "MY" work 5 rows with htc. The "M" in "MY" starts in st 34 counted from edge of piece. Start in the bottom right corner at the C. Remember that the bubbles appear on the other side of the piece.

The empty spaces are htc and the circles are bubbles.

Now work another 21 rows without bubbles, so that the blanket ends up with 110 rows in total.

Edge:

For this blanket, a very simple edge has been chosen in dc, as it will be tucked into the sides of the pram.

Work 1 row of dc all the way around the blanket - 3 dc in each corner so they don't "tilt up". Join sts. ch in first st. Additional rows of dc can be added if a wider edge is desired.

Cut and fasten the thread.
