Prym Knitting Ring Set - 4 sizes incl. needle and hook

Want to try a different way of knitting? Then the knitting ring set from Prym could be an obvious choice. Whether you have knitting experience or not, using a knitting ring is easy. The advantage is that a knitting ring can be left on a table while you work on the knitting project. This can be an ideal working position if you have arthritis in your hands, for example. You avoid straining your shoulders and arms.

With this knitting ring set you get four knitting rings in the sizes 13.5 cm diameter for 24 stitches (blue), 18 cm for 31 stitches (green), 23 cm for 36 stitches (orange) and 28 cm for 41 stitches (pink). Each knitting ring has its own colour, so you can easily find the size you need. In addition, the set includes a sewing needle, which is approximately 10 cm long and made of plastic. You also get a hook which you will need for the knitting itself. The hook is about 13 cm long and consists of a steel needle and a plastic handle of about 9 cm. Instructions

When unpacking you will find the four knitting rings, a hook and a sewing needle. Start by choosing your knitting needle. Next, wrap the yarn around the hook on the side of the knitting ring. Make sure to leave 15 cm of yarn hanging down from the hook. Hold the knitting ring in front of you and pull the yarn around the inside of the knitting ring. Wrap the yarn loosely around each seam counterclockwise and work all the way around the knitting ring. Press the yarn down towards the edge of the knitting ring. Continue wrapping the yarn around each seam so that you have two rows of yarn on the knitting ring. Next, wrap the yarn around the outside hook on the side of the knitting ring as a safety. Use the hook to lift the bottom row of yarn up over the top row of yarn and over the seam starting from the seam to the right of the outside hook. Work clockwise around the knitting ring. You have now knitted the first row! Now take the end of your yarn and wrap the yarn around the stitches again counterclockwise. Once you have wrapped the yarn around each seam again, use the hook and again lift the yarn over the bottom row. Once you have worked your way around the knitting ring, knit this row by lifting the bottom row of stitches up over the top row and on over the seam. Continue knitting until you have the desired size length. When you have finished knitting, cut the yarn and make sure there is at least 6 inches of yarn. Thread the yarn with the sewing needle. Starting with the first stitch, pass the sewing needle through the yarn stitch on the stitch and lift the stitch off the stitch. Continue passing the eye through the yarn stitches. This way you get the knitting project off the knitting ring. Pull the yarn together to tighten it and make a knot. You can now fasten the ends together with the sewing needle.
