Veritas Rachel is also great for more delicate materials such as satin. Each individual stitch program can be further changed in stitch length and width to ensure an optimal setting for different materials. This is done quickly and easily with two setting buttons. A maximum stitch length and width of 5mm gives you the flexibility to implement your own ideas to perfection.

Sewing with stretchy materials such as jersey can be particularly challenging. Here we recommend using a stretch needle with a rounded head to prevent the fabric from contracting during sewing. It is also important that the seam is as durable and elastic as the fabric itself. Here you can use the Veritas Rachel setting with overlock seams. It's ideal for stretchy materials and keeps the seams tight. Overlock seams are also a neater seam that sews over the edge and prevents the fabric from fraying. All this is achieved with just one setting.

Buttonholes made easy
Thanks to the machine's 1-step automatic buttonhole function, which creates professional-looking buttonholes, you can easily complete this task and save a lot of time. This leaves you free to think creatively and come up with lots of great ideas.
