DROPS Melody - Garnstudio Melody in many beautiful colours

DROPS Melody is a yarn quality from Garnstudio with uncompromising quality. Currently it is the leading yarn in Yarn Group D, where Symphony and Vienna have been discontinued. You order the yarn in skeins of 50 grams - corresponding to a run length of 140 meters. We recommend that you use sticks with a thickness of 7 mm, which is most appropriate for this yarn quality. The yarn allows you to knit with thick needles, where there is no risk of the garment becoming heavy and losing its structure. We have also provided the knitting tension and recommended number of stitches, which will give you a better idea of the yarn's structure.

This yarn comes in a really wide range of colours, with unicolour comprising the majority of the range. Alpaca and Wool are the two main elements of this yarn quality, but a very thin thread of Polyamide is also included, which holds Alpaca and Wool together respectively. Polyamide in particular helps to give the yarn the elasticity that gives it just the right look.

The yarn has several useful properties that make it possible to use the yarn on its own. However, it is also possible to mix DROPS Melody with other yarns. This way you can give the garment the desired softness, while making sure that the garment does not weigh too much.
