Classy Circle Scarf
With a circle scarf, it has never been easier to be practical and trendy at the same time. If you want to have a beautiful knitted circle scarf as part of your wardrobe, here you have a guide on how to knit your own Classy circle scarf. All you need is a circular needle, our soft Infinity Hearts Lily yarn and a pair of hands that are ready to knit.
Sizes:
Circumference: 132 cm. Width: approx 24 cm.
Material:
- Yarn: Infinity Hearts Lily 10 Creme. Made from 70 % Cotton and 30 % Merino Wool. Length: 50 g = 100 m.
- Needles: Circular needle (100 cm), 9 mm – or the size you need to get the right gauge.
- Knitting tension: 10 s = 10 cm (with two threads).
Yarn quantity:
- 6 balls (col 10 Creme).
Abbreviations
s = stitch(es)
k = knit
p = purl
rnd(s) = round(s)
pm = place marker
x = times
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
Pattern
NB: The scarf is worked in the round with two threads.
Cast on 132 s with two threads.
Pm to mark the beginning of the rnd.
Knit 1 rnd.
Now work the whole circle scarf in the following pattern:
Rnd 1: “k2, p1” - repeat from “ to “ throughout the rnd.
Rnd 2: k all s.
Repeat rnds 1-2 another 20 x until you have worked them a total of 21 x = 42 rnds (or a wide as you want it to be). End with rnd 2.
Finishing
Bind off, weave in the ends, wash and block - if necessary.
