Styrofoam is also better known as flamingo and is made from only 2% polystyrene plastic and 98% air. This styrofoam figure is shaped like a star, measuring 15 cm. All edges are nicely rounded, so it is easy to cover with decorations. The star is five-pointed and has lines in the middle of each branch that meet in the middle. This makes it easy to divide the star into points to decorate. As a lightweight material, the styrofoam star is easy to add other creative materials. It allows you to work with anything from modelling wax, paint, plaster gauze to sequins, fabric and ribbon. They can either be glued to the flamingo itself, or you can attach the materials with pins.
