A styrofoam prism can be used for various hangings for all holidays such as Christmas, Whitsun and Easter. A prism can be combined with other styrofoam figures such as eggs, wreaths, stars and hearts.

The Styrofoam material is also better known as flamingo and consists of only 2% polystyrene plastic and 98% air. This styrofoam figure resembles a prism with a total of twelve equal surfaces, or what you would call a hexagonal prism, so it is easy to divide the figure into fields and thus put different types of fabric on the figure itself. As a lightweight material, styrofoam is easy to add other creative materials. It allows you to work with everything from modelling wax, paint, plaster gauze to sequins, fabric and ribbon. They can either be glued to the flamingo itself, or you can attach the materials with pins.
