Knitting needles / Auxiliary needles 7 sizes are ideal for both the beginner who does not know which type of knitting needle is best or for the experienced knitter who knits cables often.

The pack contains both unformed crochet hooks and straight crochet hooks with a hook in the middle. The shape of both types of needles is made so that the stitches do not slip off.

The way the needles work is that half of the stitches in the cable are transferred to the auxiliary needle, where they wait either in front of or behind the piece. The twist turns to the left if they are waiting in front of the piece and to the right if they are waiting behind.

The width of the twist depends on the number of stitches. A larger stitch count makes it wider and smaller stitches make it narrower. As a rule, you knit as many rows as stitches before repeating the purl. For example, if you are knitting a purl over 8 stitches, repeat the purl on every 8th row, turning it alternately to the right and left.

Knitting needles are also called auxiliary needles or aran needles.
