Also called liquid latex, it's a super versatile material that can be used for lots of fun and exciting creative projects. If you're a knitter or crocheter, it's a great tool for making non-slip slippers, but that's far from the only thing you can do with the white rubber latex.
That's why you'll find our best ideas for what else you can do with latex rubber milk.
What is latex rubber milk?
Latex rubber milk is a white, liquid mass that slowly solidifies on contact with the air, giving it a soft, rubbery surface that's great for things like non-slip soles and securing carpets that won't slide around on the floor.
This variant consists of 60% ROC natural latex (rubber milk) and water. It is white as long as it is liquid. It can be easily applied with a brush where necessary.
You should always shake the can thoroughly before using to achieve the optimum effect. When completely dry, the latex can be machine washed at 30°, but no more.
What you can do with Latex Rubber Milk
As well as making non-slip soles and carpets, you can also use your latex for moulds, artificial wounds and more.
For example, if you're making casting moulds or building artificial wounds and scratches for film make-up, it might be a good idea to mix your latex on with a thickener to achieve a more cooperative consistency that's easier to mould and makes it quicker to make thicker layers.
You can also dye your rubber latex in different colours to achieve a different and more exciting look on your projects.
