Product description

The Prym Tripod Tool/Tongs is the tool for you who sew a lot and like to put press studs and laces on and in your projects. The tripod can reach where pliers can't. This is because the tripod is designed so that the base is placed under the fabric or on the inside of the project, while the top is used from the outside or top. This means that the tripod can be used anywhere on the fabric. You may find it easier to use pliers on edges and corners to give you more control over the assembly.

You use the Prym Tripod Tool/Pliers by placing the base under the place you want your press stud or lacing. Then you place the top over the base and tap it down with a hammer a few times until there is a hole or the push button is stuck. In order for you to attach the snaps, you will need some small parts that are inserted into the tool. These parts come in the package with the press studs or laces. If you have any doubts about how to fit the small parts or the press studs, there are instructions on the back of the pack. The Prym Tripod Tool/Pliers cannot be used for plastic press studs, only for press studs made of metal.
