Prym Vario Pliers for Press Fasterners, Eyelets and Piercing

With this Prym Vario Pliers for Press Buttons, Lacings and Rivets you can easily attach different types of press buttons, lacings and rivets. The pliers are best suited for use on edges and corners rather than further inside the fabric. If you need to attach press studs, laces or rivets further inside the project where the pliers cannot reach, we recommend the Prym Tripod Tool/Pliers, which you can find here.

Included with the pliers are tools for preparing for snaps, which means making the holes before you install the snaps. The included tools can make holes of 3 mm and 4 mm.

On the side, you need to buy packs of press studs from Prym. These can be Prym Anorak Press Buttons, Prym Grommets, Prym Jeans Buttons, Prym Jersey Press Buttons, Prym Patent Buttons, Prym Sport and Camping Press Buttons or Prym Color Snaps Press Buttons. The press studs can be used in bodystockings, for outerwear where there are typically press studs along the zipper edge, for sports and camping equipment, for lace rings like holes in a belt or press studs and rivets on jeans. For each type of press studs, eyelets a set of tools for fitting and instructions are included in the package (unless they are refill packages). However, please note that for Prym Color Snaps press studs you need to buy a special tool, which you can find here. If the pliers are to be used for safety eyelets, the bar of your safety eyelets can be up to 4.5mm in diameter.

In general, the Prym Vario Pliers for Press Buttons, Lacings and Rivets work by inserting the mounting tools for each product into the pliers as shown in the instructions and clamping together with the pliers to secure the press button.
