KnitPro Wool Winder for Yarn

Mounting the wool winder for yarn

In the package you will find the wool winder itself, the spindle around which the yarn is wound and an instruction manual in English. The spindle is attached to the rotating shaft by pressing it down onto the shaft and turning the spindle itself anti-clockwise until it is firmly seated. Next, the winder is mounted on a table with the clamp, which is screwed in place. Attach the device to the table by pushing it against the table with the clamp under the edge of the table. Tighten the clamp to the table by turning the screw from right to left, i.e. anti-clockwise. If you want to remove the winder, turn the handle clockwise until the appliance detaches from the edge of the table. Then you just have to pull out the yarn eye itself from the appliance. Now you are ready to wind the yarn on the wool winder.

How to wind yarn cakes on the Wool Winder

You take out your yarn and take one end of the yarn. Now wrap it around the yarn eye on the metal rod. Next, you attach the yarn to the top of the spindle itself, i.e. through the two small slots, so that the yarn is held on the spindle itself. Now wrap the yarn clockwise around the spindle. Hold the yarn from the yarn eye slightly taut while turning the clockwise handle of the wool winder itself with your other hand.
