Whether you prefer to wind your yarn by hand or using a cross winder, a yarn winder makes the process much easier. With a KnitPro Natural Yarn Winder, you can easily keep your yarn stretched out while you wind. This means no tangled yarn and no need for extra working hands. The yarn winding is especially an ideal hobby tool for quality-conscious knitters and crocheters who prefer to buy yarn in bold.
The KnitPro Natural yarn winding is easy to use here, regardless of your level. In the expanded state, the device is 71 cm high with a diameter of 48 cm, while the circumference itself is 152 cm. The yarn winding is made of a beautiful mix of laminated and natural birch wood. This is complemented by the model in light natural colours, which will complement any work table.
It is possible to attach the spinner to a table edge up to 4 cm thick using the appliance's table clamp. At the top, the model is equipped with a rotating handle, which is used to open and close the yarn winding. This makes the KnitPro easy to prepare and fold again when you are finished using it.
Looking for a yarn winding where the words 'stylish' and 'practical' go hand in hand? Then the KnitPro Yarn Winding is a solid tool to add to your craft supplies. With the yarn winding by your side, turning yarn into stylish yarn balls has never been quicker.
How to use the KnitPro Natural Yarn Winder
You can download a free yarn winding user guide right here on the site. The instructions are in English and German respectively. However, we have made our own English translation, which you can use together with the manual illustration on page 2. Follow along here:
Mount the yarn winder to a table or counter and secure the winder securely with the clamp's screw wing so that the device does not wobble.
Open and stretch your yarn thread so that it resembles a large yarn circle and stretch it around the arms of the yarn winder.
Open the yarn winding by pushing the brake block up along the wooden shaft so that the arms of the yarn winding unfold, holding the yarn thread in place.
Ensure that the yarn winding holds its position by tightening the brake block with its screw wing.
Cut the threads that are tied around the stretched and open yarn thread.
Find the yarn end pointing out of the yarn thread. When you pull on this end, your yarn will not tangle. As you pull the yarn end, the yarn winds around, making the process of gaining yarn easier.
You can also wind yarn into yarn balls by using a cross winder - sold separately.
