The KnitPro Signature Yarn Swift makes it quick and easy to handle your yarn as you wind it into handy yarn balls. It's especially useful if you prefer to buy your yarn in the form of hanks. However, the device is also great for getting rid of yarn tangles, as well as loose yarn from unravelled projects, so it's ready for your next crochet or knitting project in no time.

The yarn swift is made of sturdy wood in a mix of natural as well as laminated birch. The model here comes in natural colours with coloured stripe print on the arms as well as the twist handle. Fully extended, the unit measures 71 cm in height and 48 cm in diameter with a total circumference of 152 cm.

At the top of the spool, the KnitPro model is equipped with a turning handle, which you use to open and close the spool. At the bottom, the device has a table clamp that you can use to attach the yarn winding to surfaces, such as a table edge, up to 4 cm thick.

How to use the KnitPro Signature yarn swift

1. Mount the yarn winder to a table or counter and secure the winder securely with the clamp so that the appliance does not wobble.
2. Open and stretch your yarn thread so that it resembles a large yarn circle and stretch it around the arms of the yarn swift.
3. Open the yarn swift by pushing the brake block up along the wooden shaft so that the arms of the yarn winding unfold, holding the yarn thread in place.
4. Ensure that the yarn swift holds its position by tightening the brake block with its screw wing.
5. Cut the threads that are tied around the stretched and open yarn thread.
6. Find the yarn end pointing out of the yarn thread. When you pull on this end, your yarn will not tangle. As you pull the yarn end, the yarn winds around, making the process of gaining yarn easier.
